Builders, building officials, and other interested parties are invited to learn about building to the lower steps of the BC Energy Step Code. The full-day workshops are an extension of BC Housing’s Building Smart with the Energy Step Code seminars and also include a hands-on component. Building Better workshops will serve communities where Building Smart workshops are not easily accessible due to travel distance, but where CEA has established local government networks and in areas with a high volume of building permits and demand for additional builder training.
Attendees will earn 6.5 CPD credits (Group A) from BC Housing and are eligible for credits through the Building Officials Association of BC.
