CLI is a two-day workshop designed to help BC Mayors, Councillors, and Regional District Directors confidently lead or support bold climate action in their communities. Inspiring keynote speakers, informative panels and small group dialogue sessions will help you deepen your knowledge, build your skill set, and meet or reconnect with peers to translate your goals into action.
The BC Municipal Climate Leadership Council is hosting the Climate Leaders Institute from November 7-8, 2019 at the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC.
Three key themes will guide the plenary, peer panel and break-out group sessions:
- Knowledge Sharing: Hear about high impact actions from across BC and design bold solutions that fit the context of your community.
- Organizational Planning:Discover approaches for embedding climate action across all aspects of municipal decision making to ensure lasting impact.
- Communicating: Learn the latest techniques in communicating the importance of climate change action and building support with stakeholders.
