Community Energy Association is proud to be coordinating the ‘Peaks to Prairies‘ initiative on behalf of the City of Calgary, City of Lethbridge, City of Medicine Hat, Alberta SouthWest Regional Economic Development Alliance and SouthGrow Regional Initiative.
Community Energy Association is requesting proposals for the installation, ownership, operation and maintenance of co-sited Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC – a station with the ability to charge an electric vehicle battery to 80 per cent capacity in approximately 30 minutes) and Level 2 (charge an electric vehicle battery in 8-10 hours)‘Peaks to Prairies’ Electric Vehicle (EV) Network across southern Alberta. The project emphasizes the demonstration of a clean energy network, and therefore requires that stations be powered by renewable energy, through either on-site generation, renewable energy certificates, or a combination thereof.
