Planning begins!
The feasibility study for a Northern BC electric vehicle (EV) charging network began on June 5th with the project's first Advisory Committee meeting, held in Prince George. CEA staff met with representatives from each of the 5 Regional Districts and began what promises to be a fruitful collaboration to bring clean transportation options and economic development opportunities to Northern BC communities. At present, charging options are sparse, limiting EV adoption by corridor residents. This study aims to determine what a viable network would look like how it would meet the unique needs of Northern BC. The following map shows the Regional Districts participating on the Advisory Committee.
