Builders and building officials want to ensure even better houses for clients and residents, ones that will save them money and make them more comfortable for years to come. CEA is facilitating these workshops so builders and building officials have the information they need on ENERGY STAR for New Homes and get to earn valuable CPD credits.
Builders will learn everything they need to know to get certified and build to ENERGY STAR for New Homes.
While workshop agendas and presenters will vary by city, all will have featured speakers and content will include:
- ENERGY STAR for New Homes
- EnerGuide
- Support available from the BC utilities, including rebates
- Support available from local governments, including incentives, where these exist
- Working with an Energy Advisor
- The coming Energy Step Code, and how to prepare
