Transportation

Land use planning, public transit and fuel shifting are key to reducing emissions. CEA values local context into consideration when planning solutions to reduce emissions association with transportation.

Buildings
We support the building industry, including local governments, on the opportunities for increasing comfort and savings in new and existing homes and buildings, with emphasis on the BC Energy Step Code.
Waste Management
Reducing the amount of waste destined for the landfill is key to fighting climate change, and an opportunity for government are the opportunities to turn waste into energy.
Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is a significant opportunity for many communities including First Nations and northern communities to reduce local emissions and save money.

Land Use
CEA has supported many local governments to create Climate Action Plans that incorporate land use plans to help reduce emissions associated with transportation.
Adaptation
