CEA has undertaken a BC-focused update to the Community Energy Planning: Getting to Implementation in Canada project to identify best practices for bold climate action implementation. The update includes recommendations for local governments on how to effectively move from planning to actioning, taking into account their local context, unique opportunities, and existing resources.

During this time, CEA also launched the Big Moves Community of Practice, a pilot that offered dedicated coaching support to communities to help them become implementation-ready for a Big Move project to reduce emissions and advance low/zero carbon communities.

Through the presentations and discussion, we will explore the factors and elements of successful implementation for local governments.
