Prioritizing Your Upgrades: What to do first… and second

Part 1: Introducing a free virtual energy planning tool

The Province of BC has introduced a new tool for energy planning that works as a great first step towards understanding what upgrades may improve your home’s energy efficiency and comfort.

The BC Home Energy Planner provides homeowners with a home energy score, based on their home’s energy efficiency. The service also provides personalized recommendations for retrofit opportunities, based on the homeowner’s priorities, be it greenhouse gas reduction, climate resiliency, saving money on bills, or all of the above. This presentation will introduce the program and show homeowners how to take advantage of the retrofit opportunities and to learn more about their home.

Part 2: What’s an EnerGuide Evaluation and how will it help me?

An EnerGuide Evaluation is an essential first step in understanding your home’s energy use, enabling you to make informed decisions for improvements. Hear from energy advisor, Tom Giltenan, about the options, processes, and programs available to make the right decisions when upgrading your home.

Event is free of charge. If you can’t attend the webinar – no problem! We’ll provide the slide deck and a link to the recording to all those who have registered.
