Join us for a full day workshop offering hands-on training led by local contractors and experts from across British Columbia to build you skills and ensure your success in performing home energy retrofits. Workshops will focus on heat pumps and mechanical systems and will include the following topics: retrofit 101 & house-as-a-system, heat pump 101, dual fuel and cold climate considerations, deep dive into energy efficient mechanical systems (including space heating and cooling, heat pump hot water systems, and ERV/HRVs), and Federal and Provincial rebate programs. 

This event is geared towards contractors, tradespeople, building inspectors, and anyone else in the building and retrofit space who would like to deepen their knowledge around home energy retrofits, and is pre-approved for 5 CPD Points from BC Housing.
