CEA's model as an “enterprising non-profit" has served us well for almost three decades and has established a solid foundation for the organization. Now, we are ready to ‘scale deep’. We have a strategic intention to diversify our revenue and secure partnerships that enable more of the work we know to be critical. The transformative work we are best at requires an implementation runway that is not typically enabled through traditional consulting work. We know that local governments and Indigenous communities are capacity and funding constrained. We want to bring more to the table to enable the depth of work that is required of the global climate crisis. And this takes time, it takes relationship building, it takes systems-level project design and activation.
That's why we are on the lookout for a consultant that will help us think creatively, strategically and at a systems-level. Some of the key questions we want to explore include:
- Is our organizational structure optimized to enable the change we want to make?
- What is our organizational positionality in the ecosystem, and how might we leverage that?
- How might we diversify our revenue through new streams of funding—be it philanthropy, foundations, fundraising, or others.
- How might we clarify our strategic intention and direction, and strengthen how we evaluate the impact we are making? Challenge us!
Today we are issuing an RFP with two components and consultants can consider submitting a proposal on one or both components.
The two components are:
- Part 1: Organizational structure review
- Part 2: Strategic framework development
