CEA welcomes the Village of Lumby as BC’s newest member in the FCM-ICLEI Partners for Climate Protection program (PCP), a national program supporting over 320 communities in advancing local climate change work.
Lumby is a small but vibrant community of 1,800 people, located near the Monashee Mountains in the north Okanagan region. The Village has just achieved Community Milestones 1 – 3 with the development of an emissions inventory, setting a community GHG reduction target and the completion of a local climate action plan. Congratulations Lumby on making climate action a priority in your community.
