The NorthCAN Forum will be the premier event of 2025 exploring opportunities for climate action and the energy transition in Northern BC. This two-day in-person event will feature discussions and dialogues, information from northern leaders and researchers, and tours of local sites demonstrating the transition to a low-carbon and resilient future for northern communities.
The Northern BC Climate Action Network (NorthCAN) is a unique platform for showcasing northern leadership for climate action, community resiliency, and the low-carbon transition. It was established in 2022. Today, after three years and 13 meetings (including two previous in-person events), the network includes nearly 400 people from 50 communities who initiate, influence, and implement local climate solutions in Northern BC.
